Two Books, One Party
eet me, Bill Walsh, author of "Lapsing Into a Comma," and the authors of EEI Press's "E-What? A Guide to the Quirks of New Media Style and Usage" at a joint book-release party Thursday, Sept. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lord Byron Room of the Childe Harold in Washington, D.C.

The Childe (pictured above), at 1610 20th St. NW (near Connecticut Avenue and Q Street), is a popular watering hole in the Dupont Circle neighborhood, just steps from the Dupont Circle Metro station.

If you already have my book, I'll sign it. If not, you can buy one ($14.95) and get it signed. "E-What" will also be available, for $20. Snacks will be served, and there will be a cash bar.

My brethren on morning-newspaper copy desks will be glued to their workstations at that hour, but if you're not so encumbered, do drop in.
