Next, Jacqueline found several articles (funeral notice and coverage in addition to the obit) on Old Jim Walsh.

Note that this says he was born in Wicklow, clear across Ireland from Galway. Now we're wondering whether Galway was merely his departure point.

You can't see it on these scans, but adjoining one of the notices is an ad announcing the Log Cabin reopening under new management. We found the address based on this, and it's now a much less interesting tavern, at least from outside appearances.

Then we found Stella and Kenny.
